Haven - Pendre Garage, Cilgerran, Pembrokeshire, Wales SA43 2SL 5
This is almost certainly the last petrol station with any Haven branding left in the country. I chatted to the owner having asked permission to take the photos and he was pretty adamant that it was and so was I! He was a very nice chap and in many ways I was disappointed I didn't need to buy petrol as I would have liked to have supported what is now effectively an independent site. Fairly recently most of the pumps have been replaced but one of the original Haven branded Avery Hardoll pedestal pumps remains. I took some close ups of that of course! The bins are also Haven branded, they must be incredibly rare too. The 2021 Streetview shows an Oil 4 Wales tanker making delivery. It was good to see the garage's support for the Ukraine too.
Dan has a lovely photo of this garage from 2001 when even then the Haven brand was theoretically no more, back then the site had a pole sign too but this was taken out soon after. In his photo we see the row of Haven branded Avery Hardoll pumps of which just the one now remains. Overall the site does look rather more scruffy now than it did but the fact it keeps going is brilliant. This garage was certainly the highlight of the day for me!
