Total - JH Swaffield and Sons - Cyclelogical, 8 East Street, Crewkerne, Somerset TA18 7AB 2
This place has existed for a very long time. My memory of it stretches back to about 1975 or so when I believe it was a Pace branded site. There were two garages along this stretch of road coming in from Yeovil and one was a Butler and the other a Pace but I cannot be certain which was which. One day I should call in and ask them! By its appearance one could imagine it was an early 20th century cycle shop that ended up as a garage, I don't know if that's true or not, but certainly at times in the past they did sell cars/vehicles from here, there's a low res image on their Facebook page showing a view of the front from way back in time and there's a vehicle in the showroom. You have to scroll past the sausage roll and biscuits to find it though!

Of course if this is the case then the shop has gone full cycle (pun intended!) to revert to its earliest trade!
Tony Ethridge has a superb image of it from 2007 when there was a second pump, a Veeder Root just nearer than the one remaining Dunclare pump. It's pretty cool to still see this era of Total logo still showing on the pump decals, a more modern one on the wall at the back of the site replaced an older one seen in Tony's photo below. His photo also shows two old Flare logos/signs in the garage bay to the left suggesting that it had been Flare branded in the past.
Places like this are amazing, that they still exist is one aspect but also just for the overall charm of the place, a far cry from modern service stations! They are very well reviewed online so here's hoping they have a long future ahead of them.
The earliest Streetview from 2009 shows the Veeder Root gone and the Flare signs no longer there so Tony got his photo just in time!
