Although this site is now closed for fuel sales enough info is available on Streetview to see some sort of branding history. The canopy appears in what looks very much like the colours of Proteus in the 2011 Streetview and the diesel pump still standing then is a Burmah one. A branding of Burmah to Proteus to closure is very plausible. However it is also possible the Burmah pump came second hand from somewhere else.
I found an image from 2013 showing the garage very closed, before it became Chollerford Car Sales and after the petrol station had closed. Taken by J Thomas see here
