Thurlow Nunn still exist at this site in the present day but the fuel forecourt went before Streetview came along. The building has been modified slightly but it's still easy to see it as the same place. They were then and are now Vauxhall dealers.
The van on the forecourt has an interesting plate on it, T.N.M.V = Thurlow Nunn Motor Vehicles perhaps? We can see Esso were running a promotion for cereal bowls with their petrol and that a new Astra model had just been released.
Fiat Uno at the pumps and I think a Rover 213/216 behind it along with a couple of Vauxhalls to the right.
