Shell - Fairhead and Sawyers, Melton Road, Woodbridge, Suffolk 1957
I'm not totally sure where in Woodbridge this was but I think it's likely it is where the present day Gulf site is, the bus stop sign appears in both shots in the same place. The photo looks older than it is, it was marked on the back as being what read as either 1951 or 1957 but as Shell only introduced ICA in about 1954 it must be 1957. At first glance and with the age of the car one might think it was a little earlier.
Fairhead and Sawyers were listed Rover dealers in the 1980s and or the 1990s - I have seen car stickers with their details/logos listed for sale online and the given address was Melton, Woodbridge.
I'll add a photo of the present day Gulf site below for comparison.
