Former Petrol Station - Watson's Garage, Otley Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 1EY
Sadly this place lost its pumps a few years ago - it really stood out (to me of course) during the stages of the 2014 Tour de France which were in the UK, the route included passing this garage. It had Murco branding then. It looked a proper traditional site and it's a shame the pumps have gone. Fortunately Richard has a photo of it when it looked as I describe and of course Streetview does too.
I found a lovely older image online, bit hard to get to but bear with me. Follow this link, then click on the one photo showing and it will open a gallery of two images, then click the right arrow and an image from about 1986 will appear, it was Murco back then too. In the article it explains why the garage stopped selling fuel - cost being the principle reason -not just the price of petrol but also the need to update outdated storage and equipment.

Below you can see Richard's photo from November 2009 and on the Streetview from this angle from July 2015.
