Here we see the last days of the former premises of the East Coast Motor Company in Cromer. According to the local news at this time the garage was an "eyesore buillding" yet it had been refused demolition permission. I imagine this was due to the plan for the replacement bullding or the method of demolition to be utilised more than wanting to preserve the original building. Personally I wouldn't have seen it as an eyesore but then I'm biased! Eventually it was taken down and in its place is actually a rather attractive modern build called Merchants Place.
