Former Petrol Station - Cranes Garage, Marsham, Norfolk NR10 5PR 6
This is a bit of a sorry sight. Cranes garage has been slowly rotting away for a long time and now in 2022 looking much worse than it did in the only Streetview images from 2009. Fenced off to presumably prevent not only intrusion but also for safety reasons, the site has some remarkable damage visible, especially to the bits of cars - one cannot call them cars now! The former Skoda sign is just the frame but remarkably the pumps still stand looking still functional. The font on the diesel pump is reminiscent of the Q8 branding so I wonder if that was its last brand but back in 1992 it was an Esso site and Skoda dealer then too - see below.
The garage is hard to see unless you know precisely where to look, the old Norwich road it is on is obscured from view from the new road which must probably have bypassed here i think even before the 1992 photo was taken. I'm sure the garage lost passing trade for fuel that way but the car sales and servicing would have gone on without too much trouble I would have thought. Certainly it has closed by the only Streetview shots from 2009.
