Amazingly this garage still exists in the present day, now back with Jet after a spell with Harvest. You can see it as both Harvest and then most recently as a Jet below - the Streetview is from earlier on when it was also Jet. The latest brand change came when the Ascona group bought out the Cornwall Garage group.
Here back in the 1930s it was a very different looking place, in the days where forecourts sold a variety of brands and with all the pumps in a row. Certainly Regent, National and Cleveland can be made out from the globes. RAC and AA signs adorn the canopy edge. It's a shame it isn't a real photo postcard and only a rather poor quality print but it's still interesting to see!
