Ex UK - Manor Garage, Brundall, Norfolk NR13 5JG 10
This is a lovely garage with many features to appreciate. Last time I was here two of the Pumptronics pumps were covered over but on this occasion they were all visible. Rather oddly though, last time I was here just over four years ago, and in February, there was a string of Union Jack bunting across the pumps and yet on this occasion, when it was the start of the four day Platinum Jubilee celebrations, there wasn't any! The weathervane is delightful, a car with a petrol pump, and I'm annoyed with myself that I didn't think to take a close up of it.
When the garage here last carried a petrol brand it was UK, the one diesel pump right at the edge of the site still bears their livery and before that it was a Broadland Fuels site. There is one very old photo of this garage from I would guess the 1930s on their Facebook page showing three pumps standing then branded Shell, National Benzole and BP, so its been here for a long time!

A photo on the Brundall village history website shows it from I would imagine the 1960s as branded just National and with now four pumps. The direct link fails due to its odd URL so click on "local businesses" here

Brundall used to have a second garage called Brundall Motor Company further along The Street, at the junction with Postwick Lane and the wonderfully named Cucumber Lane, that was demolished in about 2013 to make way for a Co-op supermarket. It had once been an Esso site but later on the Esso logo had been adapted to read BMC. Dan Lockton has a photo of that one somewhere on his photostream when branded as an independent with BMC on the Esso logo but he hasn't yet put up any details for it so hard to find it! You can see that one as it once appeared here on Streetview.

Below you can see my 2018 photo with the pumps covered and the bunting! Here's the Streetview for it when it was branded UK.
