Incredibly this garage still exists in the present day, it's been through a few brands in recent times, was Total in earlier Streetview shots, then Gulf up until a couple of years ago and now it is an Esso. Certainly one could not tell it once looked like this from any of the Streetview shots. I had to rescan this image due to bleed through of writing on the other side of the print. It's still visible but not anything like as bad as it was first time around! Lots of nice small details to appreciate in this image. On sale are Shell, ShellMex, Power, National and BP. A nice collection of globes are seen over the the right including a Cleveland one despite that not seemingly being offered as a brand for sale.
