Fina - Vale Garage, 13 Faringdon Road, Stanford in the Vale, Faringdon, Oxfordshire SN7 8NN 1996 2
This garage survives to the present day but only as a regular garage and tyre centre with some van sales - a far cry from here as Rover dealers and with a Fina forecourt. By the time the first Streetview shot was taken fuel sales have ended and so has the Rover franchise - the garage is already reduced to being a standard car and van repair and sales garage. There are a few signs of interest - the AA approved repair centre on the right end of the building, the Unipart Engines and Gearboxes on the side of the canopy just visible.
Clearly this photo was taken in the depths of winter but no precise date is given. Citroen at the pumps and a Jaguar/Daimler far right both more interesting than the Metro in between!
