This is an interesting sequence of photos culminating with this one where the Butler logo has gone very weird indeed. I can't really explain why the logo has been changed to this except that maybe they were out of contract with Butler and made the minimum of change to avoid legal action. As we can see from the earlier images the logo was normal up to close to this point. What may be even more interesting is that in the earliest Streetview shot that weird altered logo is still there on the pole sign. So that suggests to me that the garage became an independent from this point onwards until it closed for petrol sales. It's now a hand car wash and has been throughout Streetview but the pumps lasted up to about 2009 before being removed. Here's that original Streetview showing the weird logo still there.
