Former Petrol Station - Arndale 43-45 High St, Harrold, Bedfordshire MK43 7DA 6
After a tip off from I think Ian Byrne, I travelled to Harrold over Christmas to photograph the remaining Arndale sign on this former garage building, now the local chip shop. Great to see it still there after all this time. Sadly I don't have a photo of it from when it was an operating garage. Fortunately Streetview shows that in 2009 it was still an operating garage with a single dual fuel pump of quite some age even for then on the forecourt. Here we can see part of the premises carries on as a garage in the present day as Jon Walsh Motors.
