This is a very nice contemporary site to reach the landmark of 9,000 photos of petrol stations and garages posted. A former UK and then Gulf site as can be seen on Streetview but retaining lots of charm now as a Pace site and still with a pair of old Gilbarcos doing sterling service. I have to say rather immodestly that this dusk shot gives an extra dimension of atmosphere! Smith and Humphrey have their own Facebook page where you can see a lovely image form a very long time ago showing that they have been in business for ages!
