Amoco (under change from Shell) - 76 Great Cambridge Road, Cheshunt, Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire EN8 8PA February 1983
I've posted this place previously both before in its older state as a Shell with an open forecourt and then after as a fully finished and open modernised Amoco site. Here we see it in between and mostly finished but a few details are yet to be added such as the canopy and pump decals and the large "WELCOME" on the forecourt entrance, and signs of ongoing construction are still clear. Where the price board will soon be it looks like it says it will be open in August or maybe even April 1983. You can see it below in both its earlier state as Shell and its later when totally finished.
Situated on the A10 just outside the M25 part of the garage is still just about recognisable in the present day, most recently part turned into a hand car wash with an American theme including the stars and stripes across the front of one of the buildings but now even that has closed.
