Cleveland - Meadows Automobiles, 418-428 Scotland Road, Liverpool, Merseyside 1968
Not sure where this actually was. There is mention of a Meadows Leisure Centre, pub and hotel in the Maghull area but I haven't been able to tell if it was there as yet. If anyone has any information I'd like to know!
Lovely photo though - a car on the forecourt that is reminiscent of a Morris Minor van but I'm not totally sure what it actually is. Very early examples of Renault brandingn the building including top right an early version of their diamond logo. Petrol is 6'4 a gallon and Cleveland Liquid Detergent is a shilling a pop.
Edit update:- now known to have been 418-428 Scotland Road thanks to Applemeister, see comment below. It's all gone in the present day but a look at Streetview from 2011 or earlier shows the garage building still standing but as a Rotunda furniture warehouse.
