Butler - L.R.Wyard Scott, Great Green, Cockfield, Suffolk IP30 0HJ May 1995
This is the earlier image of L.R. Wyard Scott (Leonard Reginald) as a Butler branded site. Apart from the brand change everything is exactly as it was in the Anglo photo, even the Walls ice cream sign is in exactly the same spot! They were Reliant specialists for quite some time although I am not sure if they were at this point in time or not. For anyone who has been here they will know it's well off the beaten track and ultimately it was no surprise that business gradually fell away resulting in the garage's closure only a couple of years ago. After this Butler era the garage would go on to be branded UK, and before that it was branded Anglo, both of which you can see below along with the most recent image of the entire site boarded up and presumably awaiting redevelopment.
