The summer of 1976 and Ultramar was by now a fairly familiar name in southern England and especially the south east. Chiswick High Road had a number of small garages along it and this one was probably the smallest of them all. It would later be re-branded as a Q8 site after Q8 bought out Ultramar's downstream operations in the UK and you can see it like that below.
