This remarkable little garage continues to trade and with the demise of the one in Cockfield is now the only garage in the area still serving fuel - so if you get the chance to support this place please do. The owner has been running this place all his life and he's now into his eighties, his son helps run it too - it's a miracle it hasn't closed yet in all honesty. It's remarkable to see a Little David pole sign still standing if somewhat faded and certainly adds to the retro charm of the site. Also a big thank you to EY Busman who originally posted a photo of this place - but for that I would possibly never have gone here. In order to get some of the many photos I took here I spent about fifteen minutes chatting to the old boy and he was very accommodating if a little repetitive in the conversation!
