Pace/Gulf - Trotton Gate Garage, Main Road, Midhurst, West Sussex 6
Fantastic retro and highly regarded garage tucked away in deepest Sussex. I have been here before and taken a couple of photos but this time I was bold enough to ask the proprietor to take photos so have some nice close up ones that I probably wouldn't have been able to take otherwise. The garage was once on the main road but when the main road was moved just a few yards to one side this garage became somewhat cut off and most people driving past would not notice it was there. It is currently showing a slight brand identity confusion with both Gulf and Pace logos across the site although this is not uncommon for Certas Energy sites, seen a few others like that and their sites are often switching between the Pace and Gulf brands. Last time I was here it was firmly branded Gulf. Many years ago this site was branded National and I'm sure Dan Lockton has a photo or two of it branded as such.
