Former Flare - Starr Garage, Henham, Essex 3
The 2009 Streetview shot of this fine vintage garage shows a Flare pole sign still standing if, like the Avery Hardoll pumps, rather faded with time. Sadly that pole sign had long since gone by the time I got here. For this shot I cheekily stepped onto the property to take this photo facing outwards. Unfortunately that set off an alarm and soon an irate man came out to give me a bollocking! Worth it though for this fantastic photo showing the reverse side of the pumps still have the Flare logos really obvious and the dials on the pump still clear to see.
