Aspects of this picture suggest an earlier date, the pumps especially - but the flat bed lorry suggests a later date as does what appears to be a tanker lorry just behind it. Still in the era of multiple brands so probably first half of the 1950's. On offer we have National, Shell, Dominion and Cleveland with the lorry bearing an Esso badge of considerable size! There is also a Mobil Oil dispenser further back in the site.
