The backdrop shows that even in leafy Buckinghamshire in the late 1970's there was a pretty scruffy appearance to Beenham garage. The H of Beenham has part fallen down and the A of Texaco is wonky! Beenham Garage still exists today although petrol sales ended many years ago. For quite a while it became a motor-cycle specialist but in recent times it has become a second hand car dealer.
