Here's a really lovely old photo to mark the 500th vintage garage photo/postcard I have uploaded. Amazingly this business still exists today; established in 1946 Ryedale Garage still trades today although the original small site has expanded rather subsequently. The same view today is rather different as various larger buildings have been erected compared to the original charming premises with kerbside pumps.
