Esso - Rousdon, Devon 1960's
Possibly late 1950's, otherwise early 1960's. It was a mission to try and locate this place based just on a sign with the name ending ___sdon, but eventually I found out via another Ebay listing of the same picture, albeit smaller than this one. Anyway, looks like a new canopy and building is being erected here - makes a nice change from today where the opposite is happening. Here's the same view today - garage is still there and pumps in place but not selling fuel anymore, I have actually been to this location and taken contemporary photos of it see below.
