Regent and Jet - Bartons of Bawtry, High Street, Bawtry, Yorkshire 1960's
Here's another view of Bartons of Bawtry, this time from the 1960's. Interesting that they last sold Jet petrol before finally closing just over ten years ago yet here we see Jet petrol being sold across the road from the sign bottom left corner. Where this Jet garage was is now the centre of the road and just a parking area. Bartons clearly moved their premises across the road at some point as they ended up in a two storey building whereas this is a three storey building.
