Summit - Wady's Service Station, Bedfordshire, late 60's, maybe early 70's, part 1
This is one of two photos of the same place taken in such a way as to make one bigger picture. When I obtained them they were sellotaped together but one was slightly bigger than the other. A bit of paintshopping later and I had the two parts scaled correctly and mostly blended. Great to see such a rare item as a Summit garage - they were pretty rare in the day. There is much for me to appreciate about this photo - first of all it's actually a really well taken photo - second the different styles of old pumps, the Castrol Oil cabinets and the pump globes. The only shame is the totem is so side on one can't see the full Summit logo.
