Esso - Lochearnhead about 1970
This is a scan of an old postcard. I have dated it by the 3 1/2 pence stamp on it, the going rate for second class in 1974. I suspect the photo itself was taken maybe a few years earlier. Aside from the lovely period pumps there is a Mini and I am guessing the bright yellow car is an MG. The lady who wrote the postcard has utterly dreadful handwriting so it's very difficult to know what it says but her name is Isobel and the card was being sent to Prestwick.
