Ultramar - Rea Bridge Service Station, Vaughan Street, Highgate, Birmingham 1985
This garage is tucked away in a side street in Highgate, Birmingham just south east of the city centre. Ultramar was a pretty rare brand to see in the 70's in England, even more so by the mid 80's as it was soon gone altogether by the end of that decade. Delighted to find this picture as a result. It is still operational today as Google maps shows under the brand Wings - also very rare - this is only the second one I know of anywhere in the country. In between being Ultramar and Wings it was Q8 as you can see below.
