If this isn't one of the very best retro garages left in Britain then I don't know what is. Featured in Clare Kendall's excellent book once I had seen this existed I simply had to go and photograph it myself. It really is in the middle of nowhere unless you are going to the Lake Vyrnwy vistor's centre for the day where there is a spectacular victorian era dam of impressive scale which one can walk across or up to on the lower side - then it makes sense to be here as it's a really lovely spot.
