Anglo - Cook's Transport, Coggeshall Road, Braintree, Essex 1987
Bizarrely the only information I could fine online about this place was a link to a Facebook page for the business which has been created but then taken no further - which is very strange as Facebook and the internet didn't exist when this photo was taken! So they presumably must have moved to somewhere else in Braintree and existed until reasonably recently - last fifteen years or so.. I imagine Cook's Transport was a bus and coach service that just happened to run a filling station on their premises, in those days probably for a bit of extra cash - I imagine they would have needed a diesel supply on site in any event. They didn't stay here long as two years later in the next door photo there was no mention of their name on the building and a separate sign saying Barnard Maintenance.
