Cleveland - Stourpaine, Dorset 1950's

The White Horse pub in the foreground is still called the White Horse today. Beyond that are a plethora of signs, Brooke Bond and Lyons Tea, Walls Ice Cream and Windowlene are advertised. In the distance is a Cleveland garage with what appears to be a tanker making delivery to the forecourt. There are globes atop the small entrance and exit markers. It is a lovely and typical village scene of the era. Of course the small garage site has been replaced with a house subsequently - same view today www.google.co.uk/maps/@50.8847207,-2.1978886,3a,75y,219.9...
