Total and Elf - Whitefield Nr Bury 1970's
When I first saw this photo on Ebay I saw the Total totem and site clearly but totally missed the Elf sign partially obscured by the fascia of the pharmacy until after it had actually arrived. Here's roughly the same view today, the Total garage is now a Morrisons but the Elf garage, the pharmacy and all the other shops in that area have been demolished and replaced with the fire station I think. www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.5541444,-2.2967275,3a,75y,93.44...
