Certainly this garage was on the A22 but hard to tell where exactly. There are three options - one still a petrol station in the present day. The first option is the Limes Garage, currently occupied by the Lingfield Motor Company. However it is far too small to have ever been the place in this old image. The second is an Esso service station and the third is occupied by The Motorcycle Centre who were in 2009 in the Limes Garage. Out of these three I think the now Motorcycle Centre premises seems most likely. If so it was here
