Shell - Ray Powell Ltd, Ferry Lane, Tottenham, North London 1973
This is a giant poster from the centre pages of Child Education magazine from October 1973. I am guessing the photo was taken especially for the magazine and have dated it the same as the year the magazine was published. The original photographer was a chap called Cyril Bernard. It is huge and therefore I could not scan it - it's 24 inches by 18 inches - so I have photographed it having fixed it to a wall! Anyway, it's a great picture with tremendous cars on view as well as a lovely period example of a Shell garage. Quad Co-op stamps too!
