This was my Ford Capri Brooklands 280, I owned it for fourteen years but sadly had to sell eighteen months ago. It had some history - it was the main prize in the Capri Club International's raffle way back in about 1994. All club members were given cards to place on any Capri windscreen they came across to try and encourage new membership. Those cards that were subsequently sent in with membership requests had the card drop member's details on it too so they all got placed in a big drum and the winning card pulled out brought that lucky recruiter this fine car! I bought it in Ely, Chettisham Garage in I think October 2000. When I came to sell it, it was in need of a second full restoration which I simply couldn't afford along with the continued storage costs and generally running of it. I decided to sell it back to The Capri Club in October 2014 for a very fair price so that it would get the loving home it really deserved. It was a tremendous car and brought me many happy memories. I have masses more photos of it if anyone's interested plus a few pictures of previous Capri's I owned :o)
