Independent - Tilbrook's Garage, Wethersfield, Essex
This charming tiny garage has now sadly closed down - the one pump has been removed and almost any sign that it was once a garage is gone. I went back more recently to try and get a better photo than this one which is badly sun affected, and found it was gone. I believe it sold Proteus fuel before briefly being independent. The earlier Google Streetview photo shows a nice Elf Oils sign on the wall. It also shows the totem branded as Castle.
