258 is doing a lot of the driver training test runs to Leith and Newhaven over the extended tramway, which should open in June 2023. Here 258 is seen at Picardy Place at the east end of the city centre and the first of the new stops towards Newhaven. Peeping up behind the tram is St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral. Newhaven is going to be about 17 minutes by tram from here.
