Lothiancountry 1039 at Shandwick Place, Edinburgh.
Fleet number 1039 (in the 2017 Lothiancountry livery) was seen heading out of the city on the X18 to Whitburn via Broxburn, Uphall, Dechmont, Deans, Bathgate and Armadale. The bus - originally new in 2010 - was previously with London operator, Metroline West, until 2018. It remains to be seen if the recent takeover of First Scotland East by McGill’s Buses, will have any impact on Lothiancountry’s services to and within West Lothian. Coates Crescent can be seen on the left while the tower of Charlotte Chapel (the former St. George’s West Church) can be seen on the right at the corner of Stafford Street.
