Lothian 433 at Ocean Terminal, Edinburgh
New in 2015, Lothian 433 was captured at the bus terminus at Ocean Terminal in Leith. The vehicle was loading for another trip on the Skylink 200 service through the north and west Edinburgh suburbs to Edinburgh Airport. Many new flats and houses are under construction just out of sight to the right and further changes here soon will include the revitalisation of the shopping centre under the new name Porta, and the start of tram construction, with the tram extension to Leith and Newhaven due to arrive in 2023.
UPDATE - following a change to the ownership of Ocean Terminal in 2020, it was announced that the plan to change the centre’s name to Porta has been dropped.
