It’s big and it’s now in service - Lothian 1079 at Ocean Terminal, Leith.
The first of the 42 new Volvo B8L/Alexander Dennis Enviro 400XLB vehicles had a soft launch into service with Lothian Buses on 06 March 2019. 1063 was the first but here 1079 is seen after arrival at Ocean Terminal and prior to entering service on an evening peak hour departure on Service 11 to Hyvots Bank. I enjoyed the run to the city centre but Stanley Road and Pilrig Street are certainly a challenge for the driver.
