Lothian 43 travelling west on Princes Street, Edinburgh

Marine based Lothian 43 - now in “Fleet of the Future” livery - is seen in Princes Street passing the tramstop platform. The Royal Scottish Academy can be seen behind the vehicle, at the corner of The Mound and Princes Street. In the distance beyond the double decker are the Scott Monument and the clock tower of The Balmoral. Service 12 is one of the many Lothian routes serving an out of town shopping centre. Its journey from Seafield ends at Gyle Centre in the west of the city. This opened in 1993.
