This coach was forming part of 2+4 formation of 1A65 1330hrs Edinburgh Waverley-Aberdeen. This first refurbished train for ScotRail Inter7City services first operated public services in mid-October 2018. Owned by Angel Trains and leased to ScotRail, the train was refurbished by Wabtec at Doncaster and includes new automatic doors. The yellow stripe above the windows indicates First Class accommodation. - the red stripe at the other end a catering area. The livery includes images of places across Scotland. I can’t name them all but before the merged castles of Edinburgh and Inverness are Glasgow’s Clyde Arc bridge and Finnieston Crane, the Wallace Monument at Stirling and Edinburgh’s Royal Scots Greys Memorial.
