Sheets
I discovered Andrea Poupoutsis’s sheet photography in which she creates a claustrophobic cover up through fear of being trapped through ways of also using layers of surfaces in correlation with the clear sheets; overall presenting a different way to document hiding identity and creating an eerie yet beautifully artistic range of photographs that interested me to do something similar. When putting the sheet over my models face and head it was hard to control when getting full, stood up body images so I decided to photograph her either lead down or sat up; this was better because I could then make sure that the sheet was fully outlining her facial features and not causing too many creases. I photographed from all different types of shots and angles to have a range of approaches, overall focusing on the face as I wanted that claustrophobic feel. Furthermore, I made my model do over the top poses as the sheet wasn't thin enough to get closer detail within her face. In this photo I used a different clouds filter to bring pattern which blended well with the expressions being made under the sheet and the creases formed from the sheet. Likewise having a washed out, cloudy effect too, adding a variation of adaptation within my work
