La Farola - Malaga
La Farola- lighthouse at the entrance of Malaga harbour. This is one of Spain's oldest lighthouses and stands 38 meters above sea level. Construction was finished in 1817. It has been damaged by earthquakes and it was damaged during the Spanish Civil War. Its light is visible over 25 miles away out to sea. This is part of the beautiful downtown area of Malaga.
