The message reads, "Dear May, I have made up my mind at last. Will it be convenient for you to come to the Marlbrough on Thurs. You could ride over on your byke & stop with us the night, then you could ride back to business in the morning. Kath is coming with us. I'm not sure whether we will go to the matinee or at night. Do come. Write back as soon as possible & say if you can come & tell me what time to meet you at 'Seven Sisters'. Come in the morning if you can. "Under Two Flags" is on at the Marlbrough.
