I haven’t done any serious photography since the STS course in Skye way back last February. Coupled with the pandemic and all the lockdowns and restrictions, new images have been sparse on my stream.
I’d seen a few images of Borrowdale Mill on Flickr recently and thought I’d like to have a crack at that one day. Funnily enough, the location came up in conversation on one of our many WhatsApp groups between Muddy Boots UK and the Wigan Magician - Pete Rowbottom. So, I gate crashed the trip and invited myself along... well, why not, after all the motto of the STS is Who Dares Shoots!
First stop was Keswick, where we met up with new recruit and potential STS member Mike Tonge... a.k.a. "The Caddy". First location of the day... Derwent Water.
