Like lemmings...

Lowry Bridge, Salford Quays

The last but one stop off for Emma, Mark and myself when we visited the Quays one impromptu Saturday evening on the pretence of a promising sunset and that Mark was in the area on taxi driver duties for his daughter who was down the road at the Apollo.

After shooting from all of the known vantage points towards all of the familiar buildings we headed back to the car park via the Millennium Bridge or it's more popular name - the Lowry Bridge. Tripods folded, gear packed away, but it only takes one photographer to just go for that extra shot and we all follow suit for fear of missing out on something we didn't see. I blame Mark for this one.

Interesting point... Emma knows the light sequence for the bridge (insert your own thoughts here), I guess she's been there a few more times than I have! Anyway, yet another one from the Quays I hear you all sigh, but I simply like the boldness of the colours on the bridge and the complementary neon behind the glass walls. You'll have to go back to 2011 in my stream to find the last image I posted from this bridge so at least I've spaced them out!

One final note, if you think London's Millennium Bridge bounces you should stand on this one... it only takes two or three people crossing to make it bounce so I'm quite happy with the sharpness at 25 secs.
