Studies

October 2014 - 3rd year of secondary art school

These studies were made with an intention of use different materials to represent different parts of different bodies.

Here we can distinguish a female human mouth, a female human eye and a cat mouth wide open.

I thought this was pretty relevant to my portfolio because it shows I can deal with other materials than graphite and watercolours (these materials are the ones that I work with most of the times).

So in this study I used alcohol based pens (copic markers) for the human mouth, graphite pencil for the human eye and coloured pencils and some white gouache paint for the cat mouth. I did all this on my personal graphic journal except for the human eye that I did on a class and I decided to cut it and paste in with the other studies.
